An investigation into the death of two women in a home in Bible Hill continues Dec. 28.

RCMP Cpl. Scott MacRae said Saturday morning that the investigation is actively continuing.

“Right now … we are still on the scene” and a forensics team continues to process the area. A major crime team is also working through the day on the case and RCMP “have not released names and ages” of the people involved in the incident.

MacRae also confirmed a man arrested in connection with the women’s deaths “remains in serious to critical condition” at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre in Truro.
