Wintery mess on the way for the South Shore

A wintery mess of weather is on the way for Shelburne County on Wednesday with snow changing to rain.

There are no official warnings for the South Shore, but Shelburne County can expect a wintery mess when they wake up Wednesday morning.

Environment Canada says snow will begin late Tuesday night then change to rain mixed with snow before morning. Snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected. Wind will gust to 50 late Tuesday evening and the temperature will rise to plus 1 by morning.

Rainfall amounts of 10 to 15 mm are expected with the temperature falling in the afternoon.
