On Dec. 5 police attended to a break and enter to a seasonal property in the Greenfield area.  An ATV and outboard motor were stolen.

On Dec. 7 police attended to another break and enter to a seasonal property along West Caledonia Road where a 14 foot aluminum boat was stolen.

On Dec. 8 police were called about a break and enter to a cottage shed where a boat motor and gasoline were stolen.

On Dec. 8 police attended to a motor vehicle collision in the Frenchy’s parking lot in Liverpool.  The male driver accidently accelerated his vehicle into two parked cars causing damage to all three vehicles.

All of the recent break and enters took place over the past 3-4 weeks.  As a result, police are going to be stepping up enforcement efforts in these remote areas. Nonetheless, cottage owners are advised not leave items of value at their seasonal cottages as these areas are isolated and are therefore more easily targeted by such perpetrators. Residents are reminded to report suspicious activity to police.
