Storm Watch

By Jonathan Riley DIGBY COURIER

Environment Canada is calling for a mess on Sunday.

The morning will start off with 15 to 25 centimetres of snow on Sunday morning and winds of 30 kmh gusting to 50.

The winds will increase throughout the morning to 50 gusting to 80.

The really fun part starts in the afternoon with ice pellets and a risk of freezing rain as it switches over to full on rain and highs of +5. They are calling for 5 mm of the wet stuff.

It will freeze up again Sunday night with lows of -3 but they are only calling for flurries and a high a +3 on Monday.

So to sum up: a mess.

We want to hear how you’re making out in it. Send us storm photos or photos of how you’re enjoying the day indoors.

The Digby Courier will also be running a special sidebar on our webpage Sunday with reports on the storm from around the province via our sister papers. The Cover It Live sidebar allows readers to submit comments, questions and reports right into the stream (after quick moderation).

We also welcome your storm reports and snow photos…
