RCMP were investigating six break and enters into seasonal homes in the Ingomar area.
Shelburne RCMP say thieves targeted seasonal residences in a rash of break-ins in the Ingomar area on Thursday night, Oct. 17 or early the next morning.
“Calls started coming in on Friday morning,” said Cpl. Nancy Mason, of the Shelburne RCMP.
There were a total of six break-ins reported and police were still in the process of gathering information on what was taken.
The RCMP forensic unit was on site early on Monday probing the breaks and Cpl. Mason said some physical evidence was gathered from the scenes.
She asked anyone with information on the breaks to call Shelburne RCMP or Crimestoppers.
“We’re asking the public for their help on this,” she said.
