A car versus bus accident Sept. 28 on Highway 101 east of Exit 9 was slowing afternoon traffic. Police and fire were on the scene.
One adult and one child were transported to hospital after a car rear-ended a bus just east of Avonport Saturday afternoon, according to Hantsport Deputy Fire Chief Paul Maynard.
Both Hantsport and Wolfville fire departments responded to the call around 4:45 p.m., along with RCMP and paramedics. The highway was closed for about 30 minutes while tow trucks removed the vehicles.
No bus passengers were injured, Maynard said, and the two people taken to hospital were not believed to have life-threatening injuries.
