Boy killed in accident near Aylesford

A 17-year-old pedestrian was killed this evening near Aylesford.

At 7:55 p.m. March 6, Kings District RCMP, Emergency Health Services and the Aylesford Fire Department responded to a 911 reporting a pedestrian had been hit from behind by a westbound pickup truck.

A Factorydale boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was not hurt.

Police are investigating and a traffic reconstructionist has been to the scene.
