Mark Clarke hasn’t been seen in 10 days.
The 34-year-old Canning man was reported missing last week. Kings District RCMP spokesman Const. Blair MacMurtery said a relative called police Feb. 4 around 10 p.m. concerned about Clarke.
Kim Smith, a Canning resident, said he gave Clarke a ride into Kentville that day, dropping him off around noon at the corner of Aberdeen and Main streets in Kentville

“That’s the last confirmed point of contact,” MacMurtery confirmed Feb. 14.
MacMurtery said the RCMP’s investigation is ongoing and a number of roads and trails between Kentville and Canning have been checked.
The force’s dog team has also been involved.
Since a request for public assistance was issued Feb. 10, MacMurtery said some tips have been received and looked into, but nothing solid.
“We have been receiving some tips regarding possible sightings in the area which have been unfounded,” Kentville Police spokesman Const. Mike Goss said Feb. 14. Goss said any information members of the force receive would be passed on to Kings RCMP for their file.

According to friends, Clarke has been living in Hillaton since late-November 2012 with a brother.
Clarke is Caucasian, approximately five foot 10 inches tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. When last seen, Clarke had long sideburns and full goatee.
He was wearing a canvas-type, insulated winter coat; insulated, brown, canvas hiking boots; jeans and gloves. Anyone with information is asked to call the nearest police department or New Minas RCMP, 902-679-5555.
