Kings County will get a brief break from winter storms today.

The Environment Canada forecast for Feb. 11 calls for sunshine, with clouds moving in in the afternoon and a high of 3 C.

Snow is predicted to begin in the evening, changing to periods of freezing rain and rain near midnight with temperatures rising to 5 C. Snowfall amount 5 cm; ranfaill 5 mm.
