Police stopped the truck with a stolen licence plate and arrested the driver without incident. Further investigation led police to executing a search warrant at a residence on the same road in Burlington. Police seized two long guns, ammunition and a bow.

Mark Baltzer, 56, faces several Criminal Code charges including Breach of a Recognizance, Unnauthorized Possession of Firearms, Unsafe Storage of Firearms and Possession of Stolen Property.
