 - Stevens, Colleen Helen Maude, age 80, of Dartmouth, passed away Monday, June 8, 2009, at home with her family by her side. Born on April 20, 1929 in Three Mile Plains, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Mabel (Frank) Parker. Surviving are her husband, Charles “Charlie”; sons, Brian (Joy), Prospect Bay; Danny (Jessie), Lower Sackville; grandchildren, Michael (Sonya), Halifax; Jamie (Stewart Legere), Halifax; Jody (Sean) McCluskey, Toronto; Bobby (Janice), Halifax; great grandson, Lawson Stevens; sister, Judy Wight, Three Mile Plains; former daughter-in-law, Andrea Porter-Stevens, Hantsport; nieces and nephews. Colleen’s family extend their appreciation and gratitude to the staff of Northwood Homecare, V.O.N. and Palliative Care, who provided such excellent and compassionate care during her illness. Visitation was 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 12, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, 194 King Street, Windsor. Memorial service was 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jeffrey  White officiated. A private family burial took place in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor, followed by a reception in the Lindsay Family Reception Centre. Family flowers only.
