July 13 to July 19, 2008

 - Keith Michael Keddy – 64 of North Kingston, it is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a loving husband, father and friend. Keith passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at home with his wife by his side, holding his hand. Born and raised in North Kingston, Keith had an immense passion for life and all aspects of agriculture. Keith was a kind, humble man with a wonderful sense of humor, always thinking of others. He enjoyed every moment he spent with each of his seven grandchildren; Kaelee, Braden, Chelsey, Shayna, Trent, Kaitlyn and Aliya to whom he will not be forgotten. Keith graduated with a B.Sc. in Agriculture from McGill University in 1969 with honours. He started his career with M.W. Graves and continued at Scotian Gold for 17 years. As a dedicated long time employee at Cavendish Agri Services, Keith thoroughly enjoyed his position as Wilmot plant manager. Keith was also an honorary member of the Kingston Lions Club. He fought a courageous long battle with cancer and appreciated every one’s love and support throughout his fight. A special thank you to Dr. Paul McGuire and Rev. Leon Langille for all their support and home visits during his last month at home. Keith is survived by his loving wife of 36 years the former Janice Aldred; sons, Troy Bruce (Jaime Nauss), Kingston; Mark (Kara) Keddy and Randy (Correna) Keddy both of North Kingston; daughter, Krista (Rodney) Dicks, Lower Sackville; sisters, Freda (Eldon) Fitch; Christine Keddy (Eric Parker), both of North Kingston; mother in law, Georgie Aldred, as well as his dog and very best friend “Jake”.
