 - Crowe, Vivian Hazel, age 78, of Windsor, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2007 in the Hants Community Hospital. Born on March 20, 1929 in Burlington, Hants County, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Emily (Hazel) Barkhouse. After graduating from Windsor Academy, she attended Miss Anslow’s Business Academy and after graduation was employed by the Bank of Nova Scotia in Dartmouth until she met her husband and became a full-time homemaker. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Earle; sons, Sheldon (Gail), Grande Prairie, Alberta; Timothy (Louise), Milton, Nova Scotia; Danny (Colleen), Grande Prairie, Alberta; daughters, Olivia McClare, Hillsvale, Nova Scotia; Miriam (Greg), Medicine Hat, Alberta; grandchildren, Kateland and Denver, Christie and Ben, Jennifer and David, Matthew and Melanie; Houston; three great-grandchildren; brother, Edwin (Betty), Waverly, Nova Scotia; many nieces and nephews. Vivian was predeceased by brothers, Boyd Allen and Adrian; son-in-law, Robbie McClare. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was 7-9 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007 in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor, where a memorial service was held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2007. Murray Pemberton officiated. Interment took place in Windsor Forks Community Cemetery. Donations in Vivian's memory may be made to the Hants Community Hospital.
