 - Robert Roy Martin – 36, of Kentville, Kings County, Nova Scotia and Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2007 in Kentville. Born in Sudbury, he was a son of Freda (MacDonald) (Martin) Smith, Kentville and the late Cleason Martin, Sudbury. He had been employed for eight years with Pine Hill Lumber in Lively, Ontario. He was later employed as a cook in Ottawa with both Patty Bolands and Burdons on Clarence Street and the Quality Inn in Sudbury. He was a happy and outgoing individual who enjoyed playing pool.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Alan (Janet) Martin, Sudbury and Gerry (Laurie) Martin, Ottawa; two nephews, Wynn and Korby; a niece, Amanda; his step-father, Merle Smith, Kentville and his family. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville and there was no visitation by family request. A memorial gathering was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2007 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Donations in memory may be made to the Lung Association.
