“As former transportation critic, I am thrilled to be working with Minister Estabrooks on transportation issues,” said Conrad. “This is an important position that will help me make life better for today’s families.”

Premier Darrell Dexter made the appointment June 29. Conrad will work with Estabrooks to build relationships with important stakeholders.

Her responsibilities also include representing the minister and overseeing policy and program development to help government keep commitments.

Ministerial assistants will not receive additional pay for their role and it is not a full-time position.

Conrad has also been appointed to the position of Caucus Chair.
