Christmas story presentation

At the Acadian Museum in West Pubnico on Dec. 2 the West Pubnico Acadian Historical Society , with a cast of 20 people, will present the play based from the book, “Le Tapis de Grand-Pré”. Admission: $3 per person.

Christmas hamper applications

The Yarmouth Community Christmas Hamper Program will be taking applications at the Salvation Army Yarmouth Community Church, 103 Brunswick St., Dec. 1-5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Application must be made in person. I.D. for each member of the family and verification of source of income is required.

The Yarmouth County Museum & Archives’ monthly meeting, featuring "A

Christmas Entertainment", will be held Friday, Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m. at the Museum, 22 Collins St. Refreshments will be served.

E.L.F. program

Fundraiser

The Firefighters Museum of Nova Scotia, 451 Main St., has an exhibit about the Corps of Canadian Firefighters who volunteered to aid Britain’s fire service during the Second World war. The exhibit runs until Dec. 19. Museum hours are Monday to Friday, 9-4 and Saturday 1-4.
