There were 286 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between May 29 and June 5.

A man had his jaw broken and was sent to hospital in Halifax following an assault at the carnival in New Minas May 28. Police are investigating.

A Grand-Pre resident reported someone banging on the door at 3:30 a.m. A driver in Coldbrook failed to pay for $123 worth of gas on May 29. There was a report of a cow on the road in Lakeville.

Kingston authorities called police and asked for extra patrols due to vandalism at the water treatment facility for the village. Damage has totaled $10,000.

An elderly man was found disoriented near the Wolfville post office at 1:15 p.m.

An ATV driver was sent to hospital after a collision on Lincoln St. in Kingston about 6 p.m. Alcohol may have been a factor.

A group of youth was fighting on Central Ave. in Kingston at 9 p.m. They were gone when police arrived.

Police mediated when a report of an unwanted person came in from Black Rock.

A large sum of money was turned over to police after it was discovered on the floor of a store in Greenwood earlier in May.

Two young drivers got a warning after a report came in of them driving drunk on Kingsport beach at 12:15 a.m. May 30. One of the pair was operating a maroon Ford Ranger.

A drunk was arrested at a liquor establishment in Wolfville after he refused to leave.

A Rolex watch was reported stolen from Greenfield. A barn was broken into on the Black Rock Rd., but nothing was taken.

A Coldbrook landlord reported via a 911 call being threatened with a bat by a tenant.

There was a one-vehicle collision in Bishopville at 5:50 p.m. A customer at a local farm market reported an employee for yelling after she allowed her dog to pee on plants.

A group of five men and one woman were reported for drinking while fishing off the Kingsport wharf about 8 p.m.

A Steam Mill resident reported someone had stolen a motor off a boat.

Eight youth trying to light grass on fire near the Kingston area were located and warned by police about 9:30 p.m. A South Berwick resident reported a case of Internet fraud.

There was a loud party on Bay St. in Wolfville with open liquor outside. Shortly afterward, two male youth were ringing doorbells on Chestnut Ave. in Wolfville.

At 10:45 p.m. five youth, who had been drinking, threw beer bottles at police on Highland Ave. in New Minas. They were arrested and one was charged.

Early on the morning of May 31 there were two reports of illegal drinking and noise from the County Fair Mall parking lot.

Later, a drunken male was arrested on the mall property for urinating in public. He was lodged in a cell until sober.

A loud party complaint came in at 12:32 a.m. from Brooklyn St. While attending, police located a female youth, who had been drinking. She was arrested and turned over to her mother.

There was a loud music complaint in Centreville and a prowler reported on the Deep Hollow Rd.

A driver with open liquor and a number of passengers were reported to police after going through a drive-through in Greenwood at 1:42 a.m. He was charged.

Two male prowlers attempted to steal a BBQ off a deck in Auburn. They were chased off at 1:47 a.m. Two hours later a BBQ lid was stolen in the same community.

A taxi taking a fare to Fundy Dr. in Wolfville had the passenger take off at 2:29 a.m.

A man was arrested with a prohibited weapon on mall property in New Minas about 4 a.m.

An unwanted male kicked in a Greenwood door about 8 a.m. and was arrested for mischief.

A Greenwood business reported a smashed window and graffiti, while a business in Wolfville was also vandalized overnight.

A woman with a mental health problem was transported to hospital from Wolfville.

There was a loud party outdoors on Cornwallis Ave. in New Minas about 8:36 p.m.

Police assisted EHS with a patient having seizures in Kingston about 9:50 p.m.

There was a loud music complaint from a Greenwood apartment building at 11:56 p.m.

A drunken man was arrested following an assault at a liquor establishment in Coldbrook early June 1.

A man was warned after harassing a woman in a parking lot in New Minas at 2:14 a.m.

A crashed vehicle was towed from Baxter’s Harbour at 2:28 a.m.

A taxi passenger damaged the taxi after getting a drive to the Deep Hollow Rd. at 4 a.m. Charges are pending. Diesel fuel was stolen overnight in South Alton. Electronic equipment was stolen from north Kentville overnight.

A youth was threatened by other youth, possibly with knives, at the carnival site in New Minas. A lawnmower was stolen from Kent Ave. in Wolfville.

A woman driving an ATV dangerously was reported from English Mtn. Rd. in Coldbrook.

A vehicle that rear-ended another driver on Orchard Ave. in Wolfville at 10:27 p.m. took off following the collision.

A series of fireworks were reported as shots fired in New Minas June 2.

A one-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 101 near the Ben Jackson Rd. at 2:39 a.m.

A trailer at the Plantation Campground in Grafton was broken into. Two thefts from unlocked vehicles also occurred over the weekend.

A heavy concrete birdbath disappeared overnight from Woodman Dr. and a series of tools were stolen from a construction site on Dale Ave. in Wolfville.

A Cambridge resident phoned 911 about unlawful entry after finding an unknown man asleep in his bed at 9:26 a.m.

An out-of-control man was causing a traffic hazard in Lakeville at 11 a.m. A garage in West Black Rock was broken into and tools taken.

A lap dog named Sleeman was stolen from Belcher St., Port Williams.

An eight-year-old and a nine-year-old were caught trying to steal cards in Zellers, New Minas. At first they refused to give their names, then they cried and finally their parents came to pick them up.

A daytime break-in on Pleasant St. in Wolfville occurred through a basement window. Jewelry, cash and liquor were stolen.

An Ipod and other valuables were stolen from Newtonville. A truck was vandalized in Millville overnight.

A driver, who had removed his license plate, failed to pay for $60 worth of gas in New Minas.

A 911 caller reported a man who looked to be drinking on the road in Coldbrook at 10:21 p.m.

Police could hear loud music when they attended a complaint on Julie Dr. in Kingston at 2:17 a.m. June 3. It had been going on since 10:45 p.m. the previous night.

A minor three-car pile-up occurred at the lights on Belcher St. at noon. One driver was charged with failing to yield. A rear-end collision took place in Greenwich at 2:52 p.m.

A taxi fare arriving on Jones Rd., New Minas failed to pay for his ride. A Wolfville Ridge resident reported property damage to a garden gate, but police determined that a deer had probably become entangled.

A 69-year-old man was arrested for impaired driving after a caller in Canning feared for his safety about 6:50 p.m.

Early last Wednesday a driver at the Big Stop in New Minas did not pay for $53 worth of gas.

Thieves broke a car window on Elizabeth Dr. in north Kentville and rummaged through the vehicle. Another car on nearby Campbell Rd. was also broken into and a radio stolen.

At 9 a.m. there was a rear-ender on Main St. at Highland Ave. in Wolfville.

A yard on the Deep Hollow Rd. was ransacked and about $200 worth of items taken. A woman was arrested.

A workshop in Welsford was entered and tools taken. Four solar lights were stolen in Melanson.

Someone entered an Aylesford home and stole money out of safe that did not lock.

A shed on Country Walk in New Minas was broken into, but nothing was taken.

A three-vehicle pile-up occurred at the crosswalk near the Kentville Agriculture Centre.

A Tremont resident reported tools and bikes were stolen during a garage break-in.

At 4:30 p.m., a rear-ender took place on Bridge St. in Kingston. Some 48 parking tickets were issued in Wolfville during the month of May.

A 15-year-old male tried to steal wake-up pills and female teens were also caught shoplifting in New Minas. A truck was reported stolen from a business in Auburn.

A Black Rock Rd., Waterville resident reported youth at the door causing mischief just after 9 p.m. When police arrived they arrested one 17-year-old male and one, who is 20, on a variety of charges.

Thieves smashed a door on a house under construction on Robie St. in Greenwood and stole tools overnight last Thursday.

There were 11 domestic incidents and one man who had been drinking was arrested. There was one sudden death and two mental health complaints.

There were 14 false alarms, 12 false 911 calls and one false school alarm. One elderly man called 911 because he could not fix his puffer.
