There were 143 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between May 8 and May 12.

A Kingston resident called police May 8 with the suspicion someone had been sleeping in a parked vehicle for the past week.

There was a minor pile-up in Cambridge at 11:55 a.m.

Police arrested a 21-year-old shoplifter in New Minas for trying to steal eight movies and a tooth whitening kit.

Two reports came in of a collision on Central Ave. in Greenwood at 6:43 p.m.

A teenager in Kingston refused to leave a Kings Transit bus just before 8 p.m. He kicked the windows and had disappeared by the time police arrived.

A 50-year-old woman became verbally abusive over the price of gas while at a gas station in New Mnas. Both staff and customers felt she was breaching the peace. The woman had departed before policearrived.

There was loud music at 2:30 a.m. May 9 on Bennett Rd. in Auburn.

At 7 a.m., a man without shoes was observed running down Willow Ave. in Wolfville with a baby in his arms.

A cyclist swerved into a vehicle on Gaspereau Ave. in Wolfville at 8:11 a.m.

A driver backed out into a school bus on the Oak Island Rd. in Avonport.

Three tax bills were apparently torched in a mailbox in Port Williams.

A 21-year-old male shoplifter was arrested at Wal-Mart in New Minas. Later, a drunk man was arrested in the same store. He had four beers in a bookbag.

A woman on the Cambridge Reserve complained after men in two vehicles tried to run her off the road at 1:15 a.m.

A 15-year-old on a four-wheeler was warned after a Durno Dr., Cambridge resident complained of kids driving improperly.

Police arrested a 20-year-old driver after a collision in Coldbrook at 2:17 a.m. May 10. He was found to be impaired.

An elderly man drove over a concrete wall in Centreville inadvertently about 10 a.m.

Police in Wolfville are looking for information after a hit and run on Gaspereau Ave. at 10 a.m. May 10. A 15-year-old boy was hit in a crosswalk by the driver of silver Honda Civic. The man who appeared to be Asian, yelled at the youth and then took off.

Solar lights were stolen out of a front yard in Aylesford.

An elderly woman driving extremely slowly on Highway 101 outside Wolfville was stopped outside Windsor. She told police she was conserving gas.

A 911 caller in Greenwich reported youth with BB guns on Avon Lane.

A 62-year-old homeless man who’d been drinking was arrested in Greenwich at 3:21 p.m.

Zellers’ security staff chased a shoplifter on foot in New Minas. The 26-year-old man was arrested in Sobeys.

A home in Billtown was broken into while the owners were on vacation.

Six dirt bikes were disturbing residents of Aalders Ave. in New Minas around 6:50 p.m. They had gone when police arrived.

The driver of a single vehicle that had a collision at 11:20 p.m. in Sheffield Mills was taken to hospital.

At 2:31 a.m. May 11, a 52-year-old man was arrested at Legend’s Lounge in Coldbrook. He had been drinking and refused to leave.

Two men threw beer bottles filled with gas on a lawn on Bigelow St. in Canning at 2:37 a.m.

An oil drum was found tampered with in West Brooklyn.

A residence on Al Bennett Rd. in Hall’s Harbour was broken into.

A two-vehicle collision occurred at Scott Dr. and Nichol’s Ave. in North Kentville about 5:50 p.m.

At 9:11 p.m. on Marina Dr. in New Minas, an inattentive driver had a collision.

A vehicle was on fire at the Lakeville Community Centre at 7:10 a.m. May 12.

Vandals in Kingston damaged a covered picnic table and turned over a port-a-potty.

Road signs in Lake George were vandalized overnight.

Someone entered a parked school bus through the top hatch in North Alton.

Two vans collided on Commercial St. in New Minas at 10:17 a.m.

An out-of-work man, 59 years of age, tried to steal batteries at Wal-Mart in New Minas.

Someone siphoned gas out of golf carts at the golf course in Weston.

Police were informed of the license plate number of a man talking on a cellphone in Port Williams while driving.

There were five domestic incidents and two mental health calls.

There were seven false business alarms, 10 false residential alarms and 10 false 911 calls.
