Coldbrook Lions Club , Emergency Comfort Centre , Coldbrook

At a time when Coldbrook has been rooted in any number of squabbles -- with just about everything from development to recreation -- it has been easy to become disenchanted with where our community is going.

Over the past years, however, the Coldbrook Lions Club has gone above and beyond in their service to our community. The Lions members have been one of the few groups in our community that has consistently offered us all a source of stability and inspiration.

Over the past summer alone, they have worked with other groups to bring the RCMP Musical Ride to the community and now through their efforts, county funds have been committed to give Coldbrook an Emergency Comfort Centre at the Huntington-Hayes Hall.

Through all the smoke and mirrors of the other groups who say that represent the interests of Coldbrook, the Lions, in their own way have been able to maintain their focus and unselfishly promote our community as the wonderful lace it is to live.

Lions, keep up the good work; your efforts are not going unnoticed.
