Letter to The Advertiser

To the Editor:

During the winter, I am especially concerned about the cats and dogs left outside in the cold.

Frostbite, hypothermia and dehydration are just a few of the health issues these animals face. Cats free to roam are at a higher risk of illnesses such as feline leukemia than if they were kept indoors.

There are also many homeless cats and dogs, so please consider the SPCA. Keep your companion animals safe and indoors this winter.

Kelly Messom,

Centreville
