Dancers from the MacKenzie School of Dance have recently received top honours during their dance season.

Madelyn Carter and Madison Boudreau were recently chosen by a judge from Scotland to attend the prestigious SDTA Scholarship program being held in October in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

To be selected dancers must display outstanding dance technique and ability, as well as have a strong background in dance theory. During this intensive scholarship program, they will be attending master classes, writing a theory exam, and competing in solo choreographies. They will represent Nova Scotia as they join top dancers from all over the world for this event.

Also, Morgan Allen and Jordan Ferguson recently competed against singers, dancers and musicians and won the Tri County Youth Talent Search with their routine "Highland Thunder." Both girls are premier level dancers in the school.
