Writers of all genres can discuss work by booking individual appointments with Shelburne County writer-in-residence E. Alex Pierce in August and early September at McKay Memorial Library. Pierce will be scheduling appointments between 1 and 4 p.m. on Aug., 21, 26, 28 and Sept. 2.

Call the library at 902-875-3615 to book an appointment. The McKay Memorial library is located at 17 Glasgow St. in Shelburne. The writer-in-residence program is a project of the Shelburne County Arts Council and Basement Theatre in partnership with Western Counties Regional Library.
