Quiet Parade will be one of four Halifax bands to hit the Osprey stage.
On Saturday, June 28 prepare for an invasion, the Halifax Invasion. Shelburne’s own Natalie Lynn is back in town and bringing three up and coming acts on the Halifax music scene, including Lynn’s own band. At 8 p.m., the bands will hit the stage for night of lively new music.
Quiet Parade will be tapping into a core of introspective and honest songs that stir up old ghosts and offer hope for better days.
The Halifax Invasion also includes the Big Get Even's signature foot tapping drums, fist-pumping bass and heart throbbing guitar. This band mixes honest lyrics delivered through infectious song structures that remind us if fame and fortune elude us, at least we can get even.
Also joining Lynn will be the Odd Bit, a highly energetic group that ignites the stage with every performance. They deliver genuine vocals, crashing guitars, and a solid drum and bass backbone. Their sound could be described as modern rock with a vintage feel.
Of course, Shelburne audiences will be familiar with Lynn, a rising singer/songwriter who commands the stage with her presence, her dynamic vocal range, and powerful guitar melodies. From hard hitting rock n roll, to dance floor anthems, Lynn and her band can bring a crowd to its feet, or break a room full of hearts with tender ballads.
Catch the Halifax Invasion at the Osprey on Saturday, June 28 at 8 p.m. Tickets are available online through the Osprey website, at the TLC Pharmasave, or at the Osprey box office between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
