Annapolis Royal Farmers and Traders Market opens to sunshine and big crowds

The sun was out and so were the vendors and customers as the Annapolis Royal Farmers and Traders Market opened at Market Square bright and early Saturday morning. Dozens of vendors sold everything from belts, cards, and pottery, to bread, wine, produce, and sausages.

Hundreds of patrons turned out with bags and baskets to take advantage of the great variety, quality products, and the chance to meet friends and socialize. Town Crier Peter Davies proclaimed the market open and entertainment and food were featured attractions.

The market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday.
