A squirrel almost got into a sticky situation in a Barrington Passage backyard earlier this week as it was raiding a bird feeder and wedged itself entirely into the cylindrical container.

The furry creature managed to avoid getting stuck and despite the close call on Monday, May 12 got a meal out of the deal.

“I went out to help it but had to take a picture first as I could not believe it. And he posed like this, then pushed top up with his head and came out,” wrote Michele Dedrick.

After his escape the little fellow returned, knocked the feeder down completely and took all the seeds.
