Tickets are now on sale for the April Flavours dinner and auction hosted by the Friends of Agriculture in Nova Scotia Society (FANS).
The gala dinner is being held April 30 at the Louis Millet community complex in New Minas. A sit-down dinner, prepared by Executive Chef Jake Wright and local chefs will feature locally grown and prepared foods and beverages.
The menu includes the April Flavours Salad, created by Sue Carroll of Rosie’s Restaurant, a main course of Meadowbrook honey ham and local roasted root vegetables. A dessert buffet will follow.
Over $8,000 worth of goods, including tours, accomodations, dinners, lawn and garden equipment and home décor items, will be auctioned off in live and silent auction.
Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased through Eventbrite.ca or at Box of Delights, Wolfville, Chisholms’ Stationary, Kentville or by emailing Linda at email@example.com . All funds will support FANS educational opportunities.
