The McKay Memorial Library is offering four Nutrition Month-related programs with a registered dietician on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in March.
On March 6, people can learn more about the Mediterranean Diet and it health benefits. On March 13, the discussion will cover how the principles of mindful eating can help with healthier eating or weight loss.
On March 20, people can hear how to use food labels, portion awareness and Canada’s Food Guide for healthier eating. The program concludes on March 27 with the presentation of some simple, delicious and nutritious recipes. Each session wraps up with a question-and-answer period.
