Les Productions le Moulin and the Festival Acadien de Clare are presenting the event and Cajun gumbo will be available for $5. There will be room to dance.
Nathan & the Zydeco Cha-Chas have brought their Louisiana zydeco around the world, from Lincoln Center and the Apollo in New York to the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. to The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. This is the group's only appearance in Nova Scotia.
The group was inducted to the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame (2005) and has received the Zydeco Music Association's Lifetime Achievement Award. It was voted the top festival band in the country and won the coveted Big Easy award for Best Zydeco Band for several years running. Eight albums have been released on the prestigious Rounder label.
