Award-winning artist J.P. Cormier was in town recently to play an intimate set at Moe’s Place Music Sales. Cormier, who has released 13 solo albums since 1995, ran the informal clinic where he played tunes, answered questions, shared stories, and showed the guests some guitar techniques. All proceeds raised from the ticket sales were directed to the Moe’s Place Scholarship Fund, which was set up to support an Avon View High School graduate planning to pursue their music education at a post-secondary institute.

Organizations: Avon View High School, Moe’s Place Music Sales, Moe’s Place Scholarship Fund Sigma Guitars
