Charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking in marijuana and unsafe storage of a firearm are pending against a Yarmouth County man and woman after a search warrant was executed at a Pubnico residence on Friday evening, Nov. 6.

The search was carried out by members of the Yarmouth-Clare Street Crime Enforcement Unit, assisted by the rural RCMP detachment. The RCMP say the search resulted in the seizure of a quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and an unsecured firearm.
