Charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine and marijuana are pending against a 31-year-old Yarmouth man following the execution of a search warrant in Arcadia.

The search warrant was executed the evening of Thursday, Nov. 5 by members of the Yarmouth-Clare Street Crime Enforcement Unit, assisted by the town and rural RCMP detachments.

The RCMP say the search resulted in the seizure of a quantity of crack cocaine, marijuana, money and drug paraphernalia. Because the charges had not yet been filed with the court, the man’s name was not released.
