911 call nets another county grow op

A 911 call late Saturday night from a residence on Parr Street in Shelburne netted the RCMP another marihuana grow operation.

The grow-op was detected after the officers from the Shelburne detachment entered the premises.

A search warrant was obtained to dismantle the grow-op and seize exhibits. “A large number of marihuana plants in various stages of growth were seized,” stated an RCMP press release.

The investigation is on going and charges are pending.

The RCMP is seeking information in regards to similar types of incidents in the area. Anyone who has information they would like to pass on in confidentiality can do s by contacting the Shelburne RCMP at 875-2490 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
