Horse grazed

A horse owner on Welch Road atop Gaspereau Mountain came home to find the animal’s head had been grazed by a suspected bullet.

The owner returned at 2:29 p.m. last Tuesday to find blood on the horse that had been loose in a field. Hunters are suspected.

The animal will be sporting an orange blanket from now on.

Cruiser

There were 119 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Nov. 10 and Nov. 13.

A Hants Border resident reported solar lights stolen last Monday.

Charges are pending following a rear end collision in New Minas.

A computer was reported stolen during a recent movie shoot on Dykeland Street in Wolfville.

A George Street, Kingston resident reported six youth trying to knock over a fence at 6:15 p.m.

Six people reported false phone calls from American police officers. Cst. Les Kakonyi says U.S. police would always contact local police before calling directly.

In co-operation with the Military Police in Greenwood, two youths who were looking through vehicles were located near the mall. One 17-year-old male has been charged with possession of stolen property.

A driver was ticketed following a collision in Coldbrook at 7:20 p.m. One person was sent to hospital.

A loud party on Main Street was reported at 11:30 p.m. and charges were laid for loud music on Blomidon Terrace in Wolfville.

Fireworks were set off on the campus at Acadia University at 1:40 a.m. last Tuesday.

An impaired driver was arrested at 2:44 a.m. after an employee at a fast food outlet in New Minas reported him going through the drive-through.

Two soccer fields were driven over at Lockhart-Ryan Park in New Minas. A rock was removed to gain access.

Just days after the new trail in Cambridge was officially opened, boulders and trail posts were vandalized.

A driver failed to pay for $47 worth of gas at the Petro-Can station in New Minas last Wednesday.

A license plate was stolen from a car parked at the Empire Theatre lot in New Minas.

Charges are pending following as assault in another parking lot in New Minas that occurred at 6:19 p.m.

A young man received a ticket for having open liquor on Gaspereau Avenue in Wolfville at 10:15 p.m.

A man who stole candy refused to stop for staff at a Wolfville drugstore.

Someone put a hole through a window at the convenience store in Aldershot early last Thursday morning.

A 45-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in a public place following a disturbance on Charles Street in north Kentville at 5:19 a.m.

There were six domestic incidents, four mental health calls and one suicide.

There were minor collisions in Greenwich

There were eight false business alarms, nine false residential alarms and seven false 911 calls.
