There were 86 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Oct. 6 and Oct. 9.

Last Monday there was a suspicious fire in a wooded area near Evangeline Court in Wolfville. The caller put out the fire after observing one young male flee.

Two youth, a male aged 17 and a female, 14, were arrested following a series of break-ins at a vacant house on Taylor Rd. in Auburn. Police got an anonymous tip last Tuesday after the seventh break-in at the property. When alerted at 1:30 a.m. they were able to capture the pair.

A drunken male was arrested on Main St. and placed in a cell about 6:41 p.m.

Two youth in New Minas received a warning at 7:15 p.m. after they caused a disturbance on Prospect Rd. in New Minas, knocking on doors and swearing.

Last Wednesday at 5:07 a.m. an Owen Rd. resident of north Kentville woke up to find a rock through a window.

A young male shoplifter was stopped at a Cambridge business. Someone rummaged through a vehicle on Prospect St. in Wolfville.

Several incidents of drivers not paying for gas took place in Greenwich, New Minas, Gaspereau and Coldbrook. A male shoplifter was caught in New Minas at 11:54 a.m.

Overnight a door was vandalized and windows smashed on Highway 1 in Auburn.

A group of youth smashed glass on Scott Dr. in north Kentville. Canning fire department requested police investigate a suspicious fire set in woods near Black Hole Rd. about 10:33 p.m.

Two males were reported vandalizing election signage on Bridge St. in Greenwood at 12:45 a.m. Thursday.

Youth were trespassing on private property near West Kings High School in Auburn.

There were five domestic incidents reported, including an unwanted 13-year-old boy and a son who smashed walls. There were collisions in New Minas, two false alarms and five false 911 calls.
