On Sept. 12, Queens RCMP Detachment members executed a CDSA search warrant on a residence in Milton, Queens Co. As a result, police seized 24 marihuana plants and a total of 3.9 kilograms of marihuana.

Leroy Artelle Huskins, 51, is facing charges of Production of marihuana, possession for the purpose of trafficking marihuana and unsafe storage of firearms.

Huskins was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in Liverpool court on Nov. 4.

On Sept. 1, Queens RCMP Detachment members received a complaint that a car was stolen in Westfield, Queens County, Nova Scotia. The car, which had been burned beyond recognition, was located in Westfield.

As a result of the investigation, the owner of the car, Enid Roselia St. Louis, 54, of Dartmouth and Richard Gerald Selig, 49, of Westfield have been charged with Arson, Arson for a fraudulent purpose, Fraud over $5,000 and Public Mischief.

St. Louis and Selig have been released from police custody and are scheduled to appear in Liverpool court on Oct. 21.
