There were 153 reports made to Kings RCMP between Aug. 7 and Aug. 11.

August 7 at 1:40 a.m., someone threw a rock through a bedroom window on Gracie Dr. in North Kentville.

A pensioner's cheque was taken out of a Kingston mailbox and cashed.

There was an attempted break-in at a home in Aylesford.

Five youth tried to steal beer off a delivery truck in Greenwood.

A group of youth were loitering near Berwick Building Supplies.

Police were called to Sobey's in New Minas at 6:38 p.m. after protesters convened to object to the sale of Ontario corn.

Six to 10 youth were loitering on Commercial St. in New Minas about 9:55 p.m.

At 10 p.m., a complaint about noise from a construction site was made from Maple Ave. in Wolfville.

Later, there was a loud party on Marsh Hawk Dr. in Wolfville.

A group of youth were loitering around 11 p.m. on Cottage St. in Berwick.

Someone broke into an unlocked workshop in Habitant and stole tools, three rifles and diving equipment.

Overnight Aug. 8 in Centreville, thieves cut a lock and stole copper tubing out of a barn in Centreville.

Vandals slashed a tent overnight at the 4-H show at the arena in Canning.

Three drunks were observed hopping a fence to trespass on Hillside Ave. in Wolfville.

A recreational trailer on Glendale Ave. in New Minas was broken into and a Playstation stolen.

A piece of equipment at Brandon's Place on Meghan Dr. in Coldbrook was broken. Three youth were questioned.

A woman was apprehended shoplifting at Sobey's in New Minas.

A Marie Cres. resident of North Kentville heard children's voices in the back yard and thought a dead skunk had been deposited on the property, so police were called. The skunk was not dead and the children were sprayed as they tried to move it along. Police had to kill the animal, who'd turned vicious.

A woman was charged with shoplifting after trying to steal sunglasses at Zellers in New Minas.

A car dealer in Hants Border reported someone had smeared excrement on vehicles for sale.

Noisy dirt bikes were disturbing Wallbrook residents at 8 p.m.

An adult male was charged after vandalism to the hallways of an apartment building on Campbell Rd. in North Kentville.

Someone about to be evicted was making noise at Evangeline Crt. in Wolfville.

Police received two calls about a loud party near the wharf in Kingsport around 10:45 p.m.

There was a loud 17th birthday party at a home in Port Landing in Port Williams at 11 p.m. Later, a drunk male “mooned” the partygoers when he was not admitted. The young man spent the night in a cell.

Loud music was a problem on Lincoln Cres. in Kingston early Aug. 9.

Four young people bought fireworks at 3:50 a.m. and set them off in the store parking lot in Kingston.

Police in Berwick were on patrol at 5 a.m. and found several people drinking at the gazebo in Rainforth Park. They had beer and bear spray. Charges were laid and their vehicle towed away.

A “gator-style” ATV was stolen from a greenhouse in Greenwich overnight.

A driver hit a stop sign making a U-turn on Elm Ave. in Wolfville.

A driver stole $55 worth of gas at a Coldbrook gas station and another took $62 worth at another Coldbrook station.

Three youth were spotted on the roof of the elementary school in Kingston at 10:20 p.m. Their parents were advised.

There was a loud party in Turner Rd. in New Minas at 11 p.m.

Three people who'd been drinking at Legend's in Coldbrook got rides home from police.

At 2:47 a.m. Aug. 10, four individuals set off fireworks on Main St. in Kingston. They were gone when police arrived.

At 3:33 a.m., a drunk with open liquor resisted arrest on Main St. in Wolfville and ended up in a cell.

Police poured out the open liquor a group of young people had on Central Ave. in Wolfville.

Someone stole liquor out of the liquor store in New Minas.

Someone cut a garden hose on Highland Ave. in Wolfville and stole a section.

A volunteer at a corn boil in Burlington had her purse stolen. It was found later without any cash.

Three male youth and one female were observed yelling and hitting vehicles with their skateboards at 2:13 p.m. near Scott Dr. in north Kentville.

Two males took bikes from a yard sale in Canning at 3 p.m. and rode off.

A drunk passenger in a car stopped at a check point in Kingston was disturbing the peace when he called police rude names.

A female youth made an assault in Wal-mart in New Minas about 8 p.m.

Overnight Aug. 11 a shed at a construction site in Coldbrook was broken into. Three chain saws and a motor were stolen.

A report was made that, at 11 a.m., a man held a knife to another man in Coldbrook while making threats.

A suicidal male was taken by police to Valley Regional Hospital and released. There was another mental health complaint and six domestic incidents. Two involved assaults and one arrest was made. One sudden death took place.

There were minor collisions in Centreville, Cambridge, Millville, Kingston and Greenfield.

There were 12 false alarms and 19 false 911 calls.
