Between Monday June 16 and Sunday, June 22, Windsor District RCMP responded to a total of 134 calls for service.

There were 12 false alarms reported along with seven misdialed 911 calls. Police investigated five reports of assault, three complaints of uttering threats, and two reports of disturbing the peace.

Other investigations include 10 theft-related complaints, two reports of fraud, one reported break and enter, and seven complaints of damage to property.

Windsor District RCMP responded to nine reported traffic collisions, 19 traffic-related complaints, and three reports of impaired driving.

Looking at the CrimeStoppers report, Windsor District RCMP is investigating a break and enter into the Farm Market on Highway #1 in Falmouth. This crime is believed to have occurred sometime between at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2008 and 7:50 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2008. Thieves kicked in a door to gain access and then stole 20 to 30 750-ml size bottles of “Vandyke” blueberry juice.

Anyone with information on this crime and who would like to remain anonymous can contact CrimeStoppers anytime at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Calls to CrimeStoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on the tip, callers qualify for a cash award from $50 to $2,000.

Tipsters can also submit secure tips online by logging on to CrimeStoppers’ website at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.

Are you missing a set of keys? On Tuesday, June 17, a set of keys on a ring was found near the causeway between Falmouth and Windsor. If you think they belong to you, please call the Town Detachment at 798-8366.

West Hants Crime Stoppers and Citizens On Patrol are looking for new members to join the groups. We have five different Citizens On Patrol Groups in Hants County. They are the Burlington and District Citizens on Patrol, Chalet Hamlet Citizens On Patrol, Ellershouse Citizens On Patrol, Ardoise Citizens On Patrol, and Mount Uniacke Citizens on Patrol.
