The Annapolis detachment of the RCMP responded to 118 calls for assistance during the week of June 2 through June 9. Among these were 11 false alarms, four false 911s, five domestic matters and four traffic accidents.

Following are highlights of these calls: (Note: due to the sensitive nature of complaints involving sexual assault, domestic violence, children’s welfare and mental health, not all calls are considered appropriate for publication) -- June 2 at 9:40 a.m. A Middleton resident reported a Burmese Mountain Dog stolen. -- June 2 at 10:09 a.m. A Middleton business reported a complaint of vandalism. -- June 2 at 6:16 p.m. A caller reported an impaired driver in Nictaux West. -- June 2 at 7:04 p.m. Police were called to a traffic collision in Middleton. No injuries were reported, but the vehicles sustained damage. -- June 2 at 10:14 p.m. Police received a report that a suspicious male was trying to gain access to a Bridgetown building. -- June 3 at 9:29 a.m. A Melvern Square resident reported a break and enter into an outbuilding. Tools and equipment were taken during the incident. -- June 3 at 6:43 p.m. A Victoria Vale resident reported property damage after a window was smashed. -- June 3 at 9:20 p.m. A Meadowvale resident reported a complaint of property damage. -- June 4 at 2:48 a.m. A member on patrol noticed that a residential door was left open and investigated. -- June 4 at 7:27 a.m. A West Dalhousie resident reported a damaged mailbox. -- June 4 at 11:38 a.m. A Middleton business reported a shoplifting. -- June 4 at 1:01 p.m. A West Dalhousie resident reported a damaged mailbox. -- June 4 at 1:18 p.m. A Middleton business reported a shoplifting incident. -- June 4 at 7:04 p.m. Police were called to Nictaux after a log rolled from a truck. -- June 5 at 7:22 a.m. A Victoria Vale resident reported theft under $5,000 after building supplies were stolen. -- June 5 at 7:24 a.m. A Middleton business reported a break and enter. -- June 5 at 7:42 a.m. A Middleton business reported a break and enter. -- June 5 at 7:43 a.m. A Middleton business reported a break and enter. -- June 5 at 8:08 a.m. A Middleton business reported a break and enter. -- June 5 at 8:34 a.m. A Middleton business reported a break and enter. -- June 5 at 8:46 a.m. A Middleton business reported a break and enter. -- June 5 at 8:55 a.m. A Middleton business reported a break and enter. -- June 5 at 8:57 a.m. A Middleton business reported a break and enter. -- June 5 at 10:44 a.m. A Bridgetown resident reported a complaint of property damage after a flowerbed was torn up. -- June 5 at 11:26 a.m. A Middleton business reported a break and enter. -- June 5 at 3:39 p.m. A caller reported an abandoned vehicle in Middleton. -- June 5 at 4:28 p.m. A caller reported a complaint of property damage in Hampton after a school bus turned in the yard. -- June 5 at 8:38 p.m. A caller reported an impaired driver in Lawrencetown. A patrol was made, but failed to locate the driver. -- June 6 at 1:10 a.m. Police were called to a disturbance in West Dalhousie. -- June 6 at 6:41 p.m. A caller reported property damage in Nictaux after a moving truck knocked down power lines. -- June 6 at 10 p.m. Police were called to an assault in Lawrencetown. -- June 7 at 12:30 a.m. A Torbrook caller reported being threatened. -- June 7 at 6:52 p.m. A caller reported a traffic hazard after three males were rollerblading along a Bridgetown street. -- June 7 at 8:47 p.m. A caller reported a theft in Dalhousie. The complaint was determined to be unfounded. -- June 7 at 9:46 p.m. Police were called to a collision in Lequille. No injuries were reported and only minor damage to vehicles. -- June 7 at 11:04 p.m. A Margaretsville caller reported a disturbance. A patrol determined the disturbance to be fireworks. -- June 7 at 11:08 p.m. A Margaretsville caller reported a disturbance. A patrol determined the disturbance to be fireworks. -- June 7 at 11:23 p.m. A Margaretsville caller reported hearing gunshots. A patrol determined the disturbance to be fireworks. -- June 8 at 2:42 p.m. A caller reported that an individual was carrying a firearm in Cornwallis Park. A patrol determined that youth were playing with a pellet gun. -- June 9 at 10:31 a.m. Police were called to a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle on Highway 8 near Graywood. One person was treated for minor injuries. -- June 9 at 10:49 a.m. Police were called to a traffic collision in Middleton. Minor injuries were reported.
