Suspicious fires continue

Police are investigating several more suspicious fires over the weekend.

A pile of scrap wood was turned into a bonfire on Tupper Rd. in North Kentville early May 10. Kentville firefighters found the blaze behind a shed at 1:36 a.m.

May 11, someone lit a pile of cardboard in an enclosure on fire behind the Canadian Tire Store in New Minas. Firefighters were called in at 10:23 p.m.

The RCMP are also looking into an attempt to light a fire in a dumpster in the back of Staples in New Minas. Staff noted the burn marks first thing May 12.
