While the moon was full, there were 165 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between April 17 and April 21.
There was a loud party on Bigelow St. reported at 1:25 a.m. April 17.
A suspicious grass fire occurred on East Davidson St. near Melanson at 1:56 p.m.
A driver pumped $48 worth of gas in Gaspereau and then did not pay. Another driver in New Minas stopped at 3:26 p.m. for $20 worth of gas and also did not pay.
A youth in Wolfville reported another youth for breaking his nose.
There was a collision involving three vehicles on Bridge St. in Kingston at 5:13 p.m.
At 11:30 p.m., an Acadia University reported being unable to study due to music rocking his house on Prospect St.
A resident of Old Farm Land in New Minas reported April 18 gas was siphoned from a vehicle overnight.
A woman was reported for shoplifting at a Wolfville clothing store.
A man smoking in a New Minas mall refused to stop and would not leave. He was arrested for obstructing police about noon. When searched, the 45-year-old man was found to be in possession of marjihauna.
A young female shoplifter was caught in New Minas at 1:48 p.m.
A suspicious man about 60 years of age was observed trying doors on vehicles parked in New Minas.
A GST cheque was taken out of a mailbox on Nichols Ave. in North Kentville.
Early April 19, a loud party was reported on Aldread Dr. in Kingston. When police arrived, youth scattered out over the front lawn.
Noise was reported on Giffen Crt. in North Kentville at 12:28 a.m.
Two drunks were reported at Acadia University at 2:25 a.m. They were gone when police arrived.
An hour later, a couple was reported for having a beer at a picnic table on the nature trail at Acadia University.
Someone cut a lock and stole an ATV overnight in Arlilngton.
A drunk was causing a disturbance outside West Side Charlie’s in New Minas at 2:14 a.m. He was charged with breaking probation.
An unwanted guest was reported in a Kingston apartment building at 12:17 p.m.
A silver Honda Civic was stolen from a dealership on Cornwallis Ave. in New Minas. The car was recovered in Spryfield with a damaged ignition.
A 16-year-old male was found trespassing at Zellers in New Minas about 2:41 p.m.
A 20-year-old man stole three video games and was arrested at a New Minas business. Police determined he was already on probation.
A drunk man was standing in traffic on Front St. outside the liquor store in Wolfville at 7:45 p.m., but was gone when police arrived. An hour later, a 56-year-old man was reported screaming at the Anvil Beverage Room. He was arrested.
Dirt bikes were causing problems for Jones Rd., New Minas residents both Saturday and Sunday.
A noise complaint came in on Hillside Ave. in Wolfville at 10:07 p.m. The tenants were warned. An hour later, another report came in of a loud party on the same street.
A driver who’d been drinking was given a four-hour suspension in Grafton and his vehicle towed early April 20.
A Glendale Dr., New Minas resident reported someone sleeping in his car.
A father in the Aylesford area reported his 16-year-old son for taking his vehicle without consent. The youth, who’d been drinking, was picked up by police and spent the night in jail.
Someone broke into a shed on Scott Dr. in North Kentville and stole a snow blower and other tools.
A car window was smashed overnight on Aurora Dr. in Greenwood.
A cottage was broken into on Otter Lake Dr. in East Dalhousie.
A man wanted on an undertaking was arrested at 2:28 p.m. in Wolfville.
A cottage was ransacked in Baxter’s Harbour. Entry was gained by prying the water side door.
A shed was broken into on Mee Rd. in North Kentville. A canoe, tiller and other items were stolen.
A drug overdose was reported in the Glenmont area.
Two young men were charged for setting a mattress on fire at 11:30 p.m. The fine is $222.
Two Acadia University were caught playing illicit basketball at 3 a.m.
A New Minas parent reported an on-going problem with bullying.
A window was broken at the elementary school on Jones Rd. in New Minas.
A screen was cut and another cottage at Baxter’s Harbour broken into.
Youth partying and lighting fires in a wooded area at Lumsden Dam were reported.
A cottage was ransacked in Upper Canard.
A vehicle parked in Garland was vandalized.
A vehicle parked at Zellers in Greenwood was stolen with keys and a wallet in it.
Authorities at Horton High School requested a student be removed at 2:25 p.m.
There were 17 domestic incidents and seven mental health complaints.
There were eight false business reports, eight false residential reports and 10 false 911 reports.
