The Yarmouth Mariners (17-10-0-0) walloped Restigouche Tigers (4-20-2-1) 9-2 Saturday night in Yarmouth. Marco Desveaux led the Mariners with two goals and three assists while Cody Lefrancois added a pair of goals. Desveaux opened the scoring at 3:32 to give the Mariners a 1-0 lead. Lefrancois scored at 10:51 to extend the lead to 2-0. Rejean Deveau (game winner) scored 1:04 later at 11:55 to increase the lead to 3-0 after the first period. Former Mariner Steve Pearson scored just 44 seconds into the middle frame to get the Tigers on the board at 3-1. Yarmouth opened the flood gates after that scoring six times including three while shorthanded in 1:48 to put this game out of reach. Scoring for the Mariners was Tristan Cameron-Harper at 3:09, Tyler Williams at 4:26, Lynden Proctor (shorthanded) at 6:29, Desveaux (shorthanded, second goal of game) at 6:58, Lefrancois (shorthanded, second goal of game) at 8:17 and Ryan Nickerson at 14:49 to make the score 9-1 after the second period. Michel Querry rounded out the scoring at 1:56.

Yarmouth went 0 for 7 on the powerplay while Restigouche went 0 for 6. Dallas Ungurian stopped 26 of 28 shots for the win while Stefan Dumaresque (44:46) stopped 23 of 28 shots in the loss.
