This very busy medical doctor is also a wonderful lady who has been honoured by the following: Who's Who in the Midwest; the International Who's Who of Business and Professional Women; Who's Who in America, and was named Honourary Alumnus, University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, April 1998.

Her husband is Karl David Nolph, MD, retired, Head Division of Nephrology at the University of Missouri Health Services Center in Columbia, Missouri.

The Nolphs have two children: a daughter, Erika Lynn Nolph Ringdahl, MD, born in 1964 and a son, Christopher Karl Nolph, DDS, born 1970.

Karl Nolph. MD, FACP, FRCPS (Glasgow) and spouse of Dr. Georgia B. Nolph, was born in Brookville, Pennsylvania, on Feb. 6, 1937. He attended Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and was granted a BS in Chemistry in June 1959. He continued in that university and attained a degree in medicine (MD) in 1963. Doctor Karl's current Titles and Positions are mind-boggling. This physician has had an amazing career and one that I could not possibly cover. Just as a start, he has served as President of the American Society of Nephrology and on many diagnostic and Therapeutic Technology assessment committees. He has also distinguished himself through international appointments.

In spite of their busy professional life, these two wonderful people look forward to spending their summers at Summerville Beach. While in our midst, and we welcome them each year, Doctor Karl plays a trumpet in the Liverpool brass band. His spouse, Georgia, is also a talented musician.

What more can I write? Anyone who has met this delightful couple will agree with me, I am sure, so I had better end this at this point, while I think I am ahead of the game.

Anyway, we can't wait to welcome the Nolphs to Summerville Beach, around the beginning of June each year.
