He couldn’t speculate when an election might take place, but Premier Rodney MacDonald says good things re in store for Hants County and Nova Scotia.

The premier and Hants west MLA Chuck Porter visited The Hants Journal office, Friday, Jan. 9, after dropping the puck to open the Long Game Classic charity event in Newport earlier that morning.

Issues the premier addressed include: infrastructure and economic plans for West Hants and the greater Annapolis Valley area; when and how the Highway 101 twinning project will move forward, with particular attention to the current bottle neck situation in Falmouth; and how the new cabinet serves the areas of Hants County the Valley and Nova Scotia.
