Talented musicians from across Canada and the United States treated the largest Tribute crowd ever to outstanding entertainment over the course of the four-day event.

Special guest George Hamilton IV was very thrilled with his visit and was quoted as saying: “It was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my lifetime. Hank Snow was, and still is one of my musical heroes. He was very kind to me when I came to Nashville in 1960. The weekend was a tremendous joy and a blessing to me and one that I’ll always remember.”

David Redford of Mountain View, Arkansas won the popular Sounds Like Hank Contest, sponsored by D’Addario Canada. Second and third places went to Bob Burke of Saint John, New Brunswick and Gary Kehoe from Aldergrove, British Columbia respectively. Paul Moulaison of Tusket, Nova Scotia won the Guitar Picking Contest, sponsored by C.F. Martin Guitar. Second and third places in this contest went to George Longard of Halifax and 16-year-old Jeremy Melanson from Grand Desert, Nova Scotia.

The winners in the Best Dressed Group Category were as follows: Thursday – Silverado Band; Friday – Nudie & The Turks; Saturday – Dale Verge & Doin’ Country; and Sunday – SouthWind. The winners in the Best Dressed Individual category were: Thursday – Brandon Foster; Friday – Bonnie Rairdon; Saturday – Chet Brown; and Sunday – Jeannie Redford.
