In celebration of his 40-plus years of touring Canada, country singer Charley Pride is returning to Canada for select concerts next summer.

One of those concerts is planned for 7:30 at the Mariners Centre in Yarmouth on July 15.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Saturday, Oct. 25. (902-742-2155.)

With 36, #1 singles to his credit, and album sales in excess of 70 million, Charley Pride concerts are back-to-back hits including “Crystal Chandelier”, “All I Have to Offer You is Me”, “Does My Ring Hurt Your Finger”, “Kiss An Angel Good Morning” and “Kaw-Liga” to mention just a few.

In 2007 he released “Pride and Joy” – a collection of gospel music, featuring “God’s Colouring Book”, with Dolly Parton, “Amazing Grace”, “Just A Closer Walk With Thee” and “Family Bible” featuring Willie Nelson. Also included is “Jesus, It’s Me Again”, penned by Canadian Dick Damron.

Pride has played to sold-out crowds from coast-to-coast throughout his career.
