Children’s camps and seniors’ events are among the activities planned for the summer in the Municipality of Argyle.

Day camp season begins July 6 and runs to Aug. 20, with camp locations at the Wedgeport, Pubnico and Belleville schools, along with a fourth camp to be held at Drumlin Heights for the first part of the summer and in East Pubnico the other part.

The municipality also has some theme camps to be held at Ecole secondaire de Par-en-Bas, including music camp (July 6-10), sports week (July 20-24) and dance week (Aug. 4-7).

The municipality ‘s dance week is new.

Craft days – another part of the summer lineup of activities in the Municipality of Argyle – are scheduled for July 16 and Aug. 12.

For seniors, meanwhile, the summer’s activities in the Argyle region include the annual senior games to be held July 14 at ESPB, a carpet bowling/ring toss/line-dancing event July 28 (also at Par-en-Bas) and a senior golf day Aug. 11 in West Pubnico.
