RCMP in Kingston, along with New Minas RCMP’s general investigation section, are investigating a robbery Sunday, Dec. 21 around 9:45 p.m. at the Movie Gallery Video store in Greenwood.

RCMP advise a lone suspect entered the store demanding cash from the cash register till. After the contents were emptied into a bag, the suspect fled on foot towards Central Avenue in Greenwood.

The suspect is described as 5'6" to 5'-8" in height, with a slim build and wearing a black mask and green hoodie. The gender of the suspect is unknown. No weapon was observed.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Minas general investigation section at 679-5561 or, anonymously through Crime Stoppers, at 1-800-222-TIPS ( 8477).
