A Middleton business has been rated as the best place to work in Atlantic Canada in 2009.
The Atlantic Progress Magazine recognized Bruce Chevrolet Pontiac Buick GMC Limited with this distinction last week in Halifax. Last year the company ranked fifth on the magazine’s list of best Atlantic Canadian employers.
“We are tremendously excited to receive this award”, said Justin Barker, vice-president
and general manager. “We’re proud that we’ve set high standards and have cultivated
an exceptional environment where employees love to come to work.”
The largest General Motors dealership in the Annapolis Valley, Bruce GM employs 44 full time employees and is listed as one of the top 101 companies in Atlantic Canada by the same magazine.
“The most exciting thing about receiving this award is that it’s our employees, who
by individually relating their own work experiences to the magazine, gifted us with this
extraordinary distinction,” added Barker. “We are deeply grateful for their loyalty, their dedication and the enthusiasm they bring to the workplace every day.”
Bruce GM was also recently awarded General Motors of Canada’s President’s Triple Crown Award for overall sales, service and customer satisfaction.
