If you could offer one piece of advice to teens today, what would it be?
“To disconnect themselves from their obsession to smart phones and wireless technology. I believe they are causing a lot of problems in young peoples’ lives, and there’s a lot more research now to back that up.”
Why are you running?
“The Green Party asked me. They were looking for candidates, and I had run in 2009 in Argyle. It was a great experience.”
What do you think is the single most important issue in your riding?
“I believe it’s very important not to damage young minds. There is research out there that says wireless is doing that. If we want healthy children, we need that to be discussed and studied until it’s proven they’re safe.”
Why should people vote for you?
“I was born and brought up here, and I love it here. I believe in helping people, and speaking up for people who can’t speak for themselves on issues that need to be heard.”
