Madeline Taylor has thrown her hat in as a Green Party candidate for the riding of Queens-Shelburne.
She is a clinical social worker by trade and works with a large variety of people. Most of her work centres around the employment assistance program, working with people referred to her by the program.
Taylor is running for the Green Party because she believes in Green values. When Elizabeth May was starting her political path in Nova Scotia, Taylor was doing much of the same in New Brunswick with a concerned parents group. The group was fighting against forestry spraying at the time.
"The Green Party reflects looking at things where we do protect our world, our climate and our people," she says.
